Medicare Supplement, or Medigap, are insurance plans that fill the “gaps” of the benefits provided by Original Medicare. Depending on which plan you choose, coverage may include deductibles, coinsurance and copayments of Part A and Part B.
These Supplement plans are offered by private insurance companies. There are a variety of plans to choose from and the plan must include the same standard benefits, regardless of insurance company. Supplement plans do not have to cover vision, dental, long-term care, or hearing aids. SLS Benefits is here to explain the differences and help you choose a plan that is right for you.
